Christian Harris and Dylan Moses

Alabama football possesses the deadliest duo of inside linebackers in college football. Playing with reckless abandon, the intense pair combined for ten tackles, four tackles for loss, and one sack.

Saban on Christian Harris’ play on the night:

"“I think he plays with a lot more confidence when Dylan’s in there because Dylan makes all the calls and Christian is more comfortable and more confident in terms of what he is supposed to do. And I think he’s a lot more confident player, so I think he’s gonna play fast. He’s got outstanding ability, and the more he can channel it in the right direction, the more plays he’s gonna make. I thought he played well tonight."

The defense needed Dylan Moses back in the worst way. His innate ability to call plays, line them up correctly and play recklessly led to their extreme confidence and improvement.

Will Anderson

The ballyhooed freshman finished with three tackles. Anderson blew up several plays in the backfield last night. He oozes with potential and is worth the hype buzzing out of camp:

The defense needed an elite player who could provide some juice off the edge and effectively affect the quarterback. Dubbed”The Terminator” by his teammates, Anderson fulfilled his mission.
