John Metchie III
The loss of first-round draft picks Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III in the spring begged the question of who would step up and fill the role as the third Alabama football receiver behind Devonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle. Look no further than sophomore John Metchie III.

Metchie possesses future superstar potential and can develop into another NFL first-rounder for the Crimson Tide.
Malachi Moore
This Minkah Fitzpatrick clone made plays all over the field. If Saban starts a first-year player at Star, you know he is special.
Six tackles, two pass breakups, and Moore’s first Alabama football, career interception in his home debut give the Crimson Tide a future great player to watch for the next three years.
