Inconsistent Alabama kickers are a running joke in college football. A healthy Reichard is perfect on 23 kicks this season (21 XP, 2 FGs). With only two attempts so far, the time will come where three points will make Alabama’s difference.

Since the Bulldogs possess a stout defense, they will make tough stops on third downs forcing the  Tide to kick field goals.

Reichard’s longest field goal this season is 34 yards. He needs to keep his automatic streak alive to bury the Dawgs.

Jones goes for 450 yards and four touchdowns

A nasty, gritty defense is a Georgia trademark. Smart knows Alabama wants to establish the running game.

Heisman hopeful Tua Tagovailoa struggled mightily against the Bulldogs and lost the trophy because of it. The next man up, Mac Jones has been silky smooth (66/83 for 1,101 yds, 8 TDs, 1 interception) all season.

However, he has not faced a defense of Georgia’s caliber. Expect a game of ups and downs for Jones. The two Georgia corners, Tyson Campbell and Eric Stokes will pressure Jaylen Waddle and Devonta Smith on the outside. Metchie, Najee Harris, and the tight ends platoon of Miller Forristal, Carl Tucker, and Cameron Latu will get it done.

The Heisman noise around Jones becomes deafening with a victory.
