During the 2020 NFL Draft, many expected the Miami Dolphins to draft a quarterback. However, there was a question as to who they would select with their first-round pick. Would they take Tua Tagovailoa, or would they draft Justin Herbert? Would another NFL team slide in front of them and force their hand?

After a brilliant smokescreen, the Dolphins finally decided to draft Tagovailoa despite the injury concerns. At the time, it was seen as the obvious choice. Despite the question marks surrounding Tua’s health, he had the potential to be the best quarterback out of this class.

However, Justin Herbert has been playing incredibly well in Los Angeles. He was forced into the starting role earlier than most expected, but he is handling the adversity with poise. He has stepped up, and he appears to be a future star in the NFL. Despite the Chargers failing to win, Herbert has them excited about their future.
