Alabama basketball fans are happy for Kira Lewis.
Kira Lewis was drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2020 NBA Draft, and Alabama basketball fans have some opinions. Lewis is the first Alabama player to be drafted in the lottery since Collin Sexton two years ago, and he is undoubtedly landing in a more favorable situation.

Sexton and Lewis will now be opponents in the NBA, but they will only face off against each other twice a year. Alabama basketball fans will certainly have those games marked on their calendar. With both players being point guards, we will surely get some isolations for each player against the other over the next few seasons.
Members of the media have been speaking Kira’s praises over the past few weeks. They certainly believe that Lewis is a great fit in New Orleans alongside Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson.

They are speaking the truth about Kira Lewis in New Orleans. Lewis’s biggest strength is his speed, and he loves to get out in the fast break. That makes this a match made in heaven. He will be throwing alley-oops to Zion Williamson and pushing the rock to Lonzo Ball in transition. Once Lewis becomes comfortable in this offense, this will be one of the most fun teams to watch in the open floor.
Some of Kira’s former teammates with Alabama basketball were speaking his praises on Twitter as well. They mentioned his work ethic, athleticism and drive to be a better player. If he brings these attributes to New Orleans, Pelicans fans will be incredibly happy.
