Alabama football’s studs and duds in the Iron Bowl

Stud: Malachi Moore

Malachi Moore is the future of the Alabama football secondary, but he might also be the present. He has been a star at the slot corner so far this year, and he has only gotten better. He had a key interception in this one, and he now leads the team in interceptions. Watch out for him to shine during his collegiate career.

Stud: Jahleel Billingsley

Alabama’s offense is at its best when they have a weapon at tight end. Miller Forristall has been solid so far, but there is still room for this position to get better. That’s where Jahleel Billingsley comes into play.

Billingsley is a star in the making for the Crimson Tide. If he improves as a blocker, he will be an unstoppable weapon in all scenarios. Alabama football keeps giving him opportunities, and he keeps making the most of them.

Stud: Steve Sarkisian

In this blowout, there were few decisions that Steve Sarkisian needed to make as the interim head coach. That being said, he did incredibly well in place of Nick Saban. Sarkisian will almost definitely get a shot to be a head coach again soon. While you can’t use one game to justify hiring someone, Sarkisian did what he needed as both a play-caller and a coach.
