Alabama football’s studs and duds vs. LSU

Stud: Landon Dickerson

Dickerson is the best center in college football. He is entertaining after the whistle, but he dominates his assignment once the ball is snapped. He did it all this game. He gave Najee Harris running lanes between the tackles, and he also helped give Mac Jones plenty of time to throw the football. One thing he did that won’t show up on the highlight reel is fool LSU with the snap count on a third down. He bent down as if to snap it, and the LSU defensive lineman gave Alabama a free first down by jumping offsides.

It is unclear where Landon Dickerson’s NFL draft stock currently lies, but it has to be rising. He is doing everything necessary to prove that he deserves a starting role on an NFL team.

Dickerson came into this game with a chip on his shoulder. Some emotional mistakes made in 2019 helped LSU score a cheap touchdown in the first half. He made up for it with his play in Baton Rouge.

Stud: Will Anderson

Will Anderson earned his starting role on the Alabama defense, but he hasn’t filled the stat sheet so far. He is completing his assignments, but his sack production has lacked. He recorded his first sack in the Iron Bowl, and he added two to the total vs. LSU. Anderson keeps taking steps in the right direction, and fans should be excited about his future.
