Studs and duds for Alabama football vs. LSU

Dud: Christian Harris

Harris played emotionally against the LSU Tigers, and it caused him to make a few mistakes. He had a bad penalty and missed his assignments due to his aggressive play. It isn’t a sign of a bad player, but he needs to keep his emotions in check in games like these. Alabama football still has big games on the schedule.

Dud: LSU’s ability to sustain success

LSU learned on Saturday just how hard it is to keep winning. They earned their win in Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2019, but it takes more than one year to build a dynasty. Alabama has successfully done that over the past decade, but the Tigers have failed to do so. They went from the White House to the outhouse in a few short months.

Dud: This rivalry

Alabama has dominated the LSU Tigers for the past few seasons. To be honest, this could not be considered a rivalry. However, the 2019 game was exhilarating and entertaining. Even though Alabama lost, that was what a rivalry was supposed to feel like. Many believed that this rivalry was back to where it used to be after such a close game. However, that has proven to be a one-hit-wonder. LSU is worse than ever, and Alabama is back to dominating this so-called rivalry.
