What can we expect for Alabama football vs. Arkansas?

We are getting used to seeing Alabama football dominate in this crazy 2020 season. Even though the Iron Bowl has already been played, there are still regular-season games on the schedule. This Saturday, the Crimson Tide will face off against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Arkansas has not been a competitive team for the past few seasons, but they are turning things around in 2020. Even though they have a weak record, they are staying competitive in plenty of their games. Sam Pittman needs some time, but he has the Razorbacks trending upward.

That being said, it will be no surprise when Alabama football destroys the Hogs. Alabama is easily the best team in the country, and each game has provided them an opportunity to further prove that point.

With all that being said, it isn’t fair to make basic predictions for this game. There is no nuance in believing that Alabama will win or that Mac Jones will play well. With that in mind, here are some bold predictions for Alabama vs. Arkansas.

5. Jase McClellan will see more reps

This game is important, but Alabama is expected to win easily. The key for the Crimson Tide is to remain healthy. Because of that, I assume Nick Saban will give younger guys some reps. This gives them vital experience, but it also keeps the veterans fresh and healthy as we approach the SEC Championship.

Out of all of the younger options, I expect Jase McClellan will see the largest increase in snaps. He has been incredibly solid as a reserve back, and he deserves more time in the game. He has to fight with plenty of players, but he deserves it.
