4. Will Anderson will record another sack
No player has received as much hype going into a freshman as Will Anderson. The outside linebacker is one of few freshmen to start their first game with Alabama football, and he did it over a senior. Needless to say, Anderson is a monster in the making.
However, the sack production wasn’t there early this season. Anderson was doing his job well, but he was forcing more pressures than he was getting sacks. You can’t fault him for playing his role in the pass rush, but fans were chomping at the bit to see what Anderson could do with his ears pinned back.
Alabama fans finally got a glimpse of it in the Iron Bowl. Anderson got his first sack and played very well. He followed that performance up with two sacks against the LSU Tigers. These aren’t the best offensive lines in college football, but they are at least solid.
It is safe to say that Will Anderson is turning the corner on this season. He has progressed incredibly well, and he is playing his best football at the end of the season. he will undoubtedly impact this game, and I believe that he will do so with some sacks. Chris Allen and Will Anderson are a ferocious tandem, and Anderson will see his stats improve against the Razorbacks.
