Alabama football’s studs and duds vs. Arkansas
Stud: Will Reichard
Reichard was perfect yet again in this one, and he drilled a field goal for over 40 yards. With the regular season officially over, Reichard went perfect this regular season. Given Alabama football’s troubled history with kickers, fans would have settled for making every extra point.
Reichard is one of the best kickers in college football, and he deserves more credit for what he has done this season. Going perfect as a kicker is hard for anyone to do. It’s even harder when you are playing for Alabama.
Dud: Injury bug
This game was pointless. Everyone knew that the Crimson Tide would beat the Arkansas Razorbacks. All this game did was keep players in a rhythm and give younger players key reps. The one thing that Alabama was hoping for in this game was a clean injury report. However, Harris went down with a shoulder injury. We are not sure if Harris will be out, but this is bad news for the Crimson Tide. Linebacker injuries are what plagued the defense in 2019. Fans will be hoping that we won’t have more of the same.
Alabama has been relatively healthy all year. Outside of the Jaylen Waddle injury, this team has remained mostly intact at the top. Fans will just hope for Harris to come back as soon as possible.
