Bold predictions for Alabama football in the SEC Championship

1. Alabama will keep their foot on the gas

Alabama usually finishes games in three quarters or less. They start to run the football and eventually put in the second string. This is why the scoring slows down in almost every Alabama football game.

That will not be the case in the SEC Championship. Alabama will be looking for style points against the Florida Gators, and they will get them. Every player will be looking to make a statement, and the coaching staff will let them.

This is for multiple reasons. Let’s start with the obvious. This is Alabama’s last chance to prove to the committee that they are the best team in college football. If they dominate in this game, there is no doubting that fact. However, both Clemson and Notre Dame will try to earn the top spot with a win in the ACC Championship.

This will also be personal to the players. The Gators have given the Tide bulletin board material all week. They genuinely believe that they will win this game, and Alabama will want to squash all hope by halftime.

Dan Mullen insulted Mac Jones by calling him a game manager. Although Mac won’t say it, he lets comments like that fuel him. After Bo Nix made similar comments, Jones had a career day in the Iron Bowl.

This game will be fun to watch. If these bold predictions come to fruition, Alabama football fans will leave Atlanta happy.
