3. Najee Harris will win Offensive MVP

This isn’t as bold as the others, but you should think about all of the options on Alabama’s offense. Alabama football has two Heisman finalists on their roster, and neither of them are Najee.

This award could go to either Mac Jones or DeVonta Smith. Both have plenty of talent, and they will each make the plays necessary to win this College Football Playoff game. Still, I believe that the offense will run through Najee Harris.

Harris has been racking up touchdowns all season thanks to his skills in the red zone. He seems to always fall forward, which is vital when you are near the goal line. He also only has one fumble over his entire collegiate career. Everyone trusts him with the ball, and he is a great option.

Najee has also improved as a pass-catching back. His best game was in the SEC Championship where he had multiple receiving touchdowns.

Now that we are in the postseason, depth does not matter. Balance does not matter. The only thing that matters is winning the game. For Alabama football, that means giving the ball to Najee Harris and not looking back. They will still pass the football plenty, but Najee will have the bulk of the touches.
