3.) Tom Herman- Former Head Coach, Texas

The good ole switcharoo! Although Tom Herman was just fired from Texas, there is still reason to believe he has the ability to be one of the best play-callers in all of college football, even ranked in the top 5 at one point. With Alabama having a deep stable of running backs and Herman notorious for his downhill running roots, this hire would likely certainly raise eyebrows, but not just for odd reasons. People forget that Tom Herman took a 3rd-string quarterback in 2014 and won the National Championship.

4.) Adam Gase- Former Head Coach, New York Jets

What a strange hire this could be. Adam Gase is the former head coach of the Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets and has one of the stranger personalities in the league. This all can be overlooked though, as he was the offensive coordinator for Peyton Manning in 2013 while with the Denver Broncos, which was also a record-breaking year for him. The Alabama Crimson Tide are all about breaking records this year, especially offensive ones, so why not give an offensive guru like Adam Gase an opportunity?
