Top storylines for Alabama football vs. Ohio State

1. Will Jaylen Waddle return for the title game?

This question is on the minds of every Alabama football fan. As soon as Jaylen Waddle got hurt against Tennessee, everyone expected the worst. Broken ankles are usually season-long injuries. Thankfully, his rehab process has been going well. Rumors came out a while back that he might be available for the title game.

We all know what Waddle’s return would mean for the Tide. Adding another weapon like Waddle makes the offense virtually unstoppable. The Buckeyes will already struggle with stopping DeVonta Smith out wide. Adding Waddle in the slot makes things even harder.

While these were the rumors, we still don’t know if he will be available. He traveled with the team to Arlington, but he did not dress out for the game. He appears to have no limp when he walks, but that is nowhere near the same as sprinting and making cuts on the ankle.

Nick Saban will be asked about Waddle’s availability all week. If he announces that he will play some, it will break all media outlets. There is no way of knowing whether or not he will play as of now, but fans can hope for the best.

Next. Tide report card vs. Notre Dame. dark

There are still storylines that are not on this list. From the seniors playing in their last game to Sermon looking to torch the defense, there is a lot that will make this game intriguing.
