Alabama Football: 5 keys to win the National Championship

Keys for Alabama football to win the National Championship
3. Alabama must limit turnovers
Turnovers are always a key to winning a game, but they matter more with explosive offenses. You can’t realistically expect to stop Mac Jones and the Tide offense three straight times. It might happen once, but it is not a recipe for success.
Instead, you have to force them to go on long drives and hope to force a turnover. The Buckeyes have been great at this all season. They have forced 2.6 turnovers a game, and they have forced a turnover in every game except one.
This was a key for the Buckeyes against Clemson. The Tigers had two turnovers, but they still scored 24 points. While those drives would not have won the game, it would have at least made things close until the end.
Thankfully, Alabama football does not turn the football over often. The Tide average less than a turnover a game, and they have never had multiple turnovers in a single matchup. Najee Harris only has one career fumble, and Mac Jones has only thrown four interceptions this season. This focus on ball security has been vital, and Alabama needs to keep it up against the opportunistic Buckeyes. If they have multiple turnovers, the Tide will struggle to win this game without some extra help.
