Wide Receiver:

Congratulations to Alabama wide receiver, DeVonta Smith, on an incredible Heisman season. What an absolutely amazing thing to accomplish, especially when you play on a team as talented as Alabama.

Alabama Football has arguably the best set of wide receivers in the country for the second year in a row. Does that mean they are superior to the group at Ohio State? The Buckeyes have had a rather interesting season. They first found out their season was canceled, to later play 5-6 games, to playing for the National Championship. Buckeyes receiver, Chris Olave, leads the wide receivers in pretty much every category statistically and will be the first man called upon once Justin Fields is looking downfield. Garrett Wilson is another receiver giving Ohio State a dynamic duo.

When you take a guy like Justin Fields, who has solid accuracy, great pocket awareness, and confidence, and place a guy like Chris Olave as your man for Fields to throw to, you get a feeling something great will happen.

Alabama Football has one of the deepest receiver groups in all of college football and they do not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. The Crimson Tide are just too stacked everywhere on offense and guys like DeVonta Smith, possibly Jaylen Waddle, John Metchie, Xavier Williams, and Slade Bolden have shown they can be called upon.
