Alabama Football: Matchups and advantages for Crimson Tide vs. Ohio State
By Cj Dew
Offensive Line:
This could very well be the determining factor in the battle for the National Championship. Battles like this are usually won in the trenches. Alabama was just given the award for the best offensive line in the entire country.
For Ohio State Thayer Munford, Nicholas Petit-Frere, Wyatt Davis, and Josh Meyers, the game is just as huge. They have not been able to play together lately because of COVID-19. The Buckeyes have definitely impressed people this season with their margins of victory. A big game for running back Trey Sermon against Northwestern for 300+ rush yards has to be credited a large amount because of the offensive line.
When it comes to the Alabama Crimson Tide, they are stout as ever, as Alex Leatherwood, Evan Neal and company look to pave the way for Najee Harris and company. Unfortunately for Alabama, they will likely be without Remington Award winner and starting center, Landon Dickerson.
When it comes down to it, with experience, depth, athleticism and the Tide takes the cake. This is one of the best offensive lines we have seen in the Nick Saban era.
Advantage: Alabama Crimson Tide
