Alabama Football: At least one Tide player will win the Super Bowl

A former Alabama football player is guaranteed to win the Super Bowl
The NFL Playoffs are well underway, and we are officially down to four teams. Thanks to the elimination of the New Orleans Saints, one thing is for certain. At least one former Alabama football player will win a ring at Super Bowl LV.
The AFC is down to the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has plenty of Alabama football ties to the roster. Former walk-on corner Levi Wallace has been a strong starter for Buffalo’s secondary, and he will be looking to play in his first-ever Super Bowl. On the depth chart, former running back TJ Yeldon is also listed on the Bills’ roster. Yeldon has only played in three games this year and has 11 total touches. However, he did score a receiving touchdown for the Bills.
Buffalo’s offense is led by Brian Daboll at offensive coordinator. He was in the coaching carousel in hopes of being promoted, but he will likely stick with the Bills next year. Either way, he got to Buffalo after taking the offensive coordinator job with Nick Saban. He coached in the championship game vs. Georgia and led Tua and the Tide to glory.
The Kansas City Chiefs did not begin this season with an Alabama player. However, they picked one up late in the season. Gehrig Dieter was a transfer receiver for the Tide and won a ring with the 2015 team. He only has one catch this season, but he does have a close friendship with KC’s franchise quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He won a Super Bowl last year with the Chiefs, and he will be looking to add another ring to his resume.
On the NFC side, two other Alabama football players are hoping to win it all. For the Packers, JK Scott has been the punter for multiple seasons. While the Packers hope that he won’t see the field much, he can still have an impact on the rest of the season. He is also the holder for Mason Crosby.
The Bucs have an Alabama player, but he won’t be available. OJ Howard is on the injured reserve for Tampa Bay. Even if he is out for this game, he would win a Super Bowl ring if Tom Brady and the team can win it all.
At this point, fans can’t really go wrong with picking their favorite player and rooting for their team. At the end of the day, at least one Alabama player will end this season with a win and a ring.
