Alabama Football: 3 perfect NFL landing spots for Najee Harris
By Dakota Cox
Alabama football should be hoping that Najee Harris goes to one of these teams
The NFL Draft season is officially here, and there are plenty of Alabama football fans waiting to see where they will be drafted. One fan-favorite running back Najee Harris. After returning for his senior season, Harris proved his versatility as an all-purpose back for the Crimson Tide.
While Najee has what it takes to thrive on almost any team, fit matters for draft prospects. For some players, it can be the difference between being a bust and a Pro Bowler. With that in mind, what are the best fits for Najee Harris in the upcoming draft?
3. Buffalo Bills
Buffalo is coming off of an AFC Championship appearance, and their youth shows that they have what it takes to win for the next few seasons. While their offense improved, the running game was a clear weakness. Their starting running back only had two touchdowns on the year, and no one had more than 700 rushing yards.
Harris could instantly add a facet to the Buffalo Bills attack. He would provide a check-down option for quarterback Josh Allen, and his pass protection would help open up deep passing opportunities.
Buffalo has recently invested in the passing game and defense, and that is why they made it to the AFC Championship this year. If they want to keep improving, they have to address the running game.
Harris also played for Buffalo’s offensive coordinator Brian Daboll for one season. Daboll was Alabama football’s offensive coordinator for Najee’s freshman campaign. If Harris is available at 30 overall, look for the Bills to snatch him up.
