Which Alabama football players should have been in a college football game

After seven seasons without a college football video game, EA Sports is finally working on fixing this issue. Facts are scarce, but it appears that there will be an EA Sports college football video game sometime in the future. Alabama football fans can finally play a new game as their beloved Crimson Tide.

Alabama has won three national championships since the last NCAA Football video game was released, and plenty of stars made it through the system. While fans got to play as A.J. McCarron, Julio Jones and Mark Ingram, they have missed out on this new generation of Alabama football legends.

With this in mind, let’s take a look into the past at some of the top stars that never made it to an NCAA Football video game.

Derrick Henry

Technically, Derrick Henry was in the final NCAA Football video game. However, he was just a freshman buried on the depth chart. We never got to see the Heisman-winner in all of his glory in this franchise. By his junior year, Henry would be a cheat code in a college football video game. His stiff-arm would be a 99, and he would be impossible to tackle.

Jalen Hurts

Many Alabama quarterbacks will be on this list. The first that comes to mind is Jalen Hurts. While Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones achieved more as quarterbacks, Jalen would bring a fun style of play to the game. His running ability would open up the playbook, and the triple option was deadly in NCAA Football 14. Using the 2016 or 2017 offense with Hurts running the ball would be enjoyable on every down.
