11. New York Giants: Jaylen Waddle WR, Alabama

Another Alabama football star is drafted 11th overall by the New York Giants. This fit makes a ton of sense, and I could easily see this being Waddle’s landing spot once the draft finally rolls around.

If the Giants are going to stick with Daniel Jones, they need some weapons for him to work with. New York has Saquon, but the receiving corps is clearly not enough to compete. This would give New York a true WR1 as they try to properly evaluate Jones as a franchise quarterback.

Waddle suffered a tough ankle injury this year, but he showed his determination by playing in the championship game against Ohio State. Alabama football did not need him, but he worked his tail off to make some sort of an impact, and it was very helpful.

Once Waddle is fully healthy, he can impact special teams as well. He is one of the best punt returners that Alabama has ever seen, and his ability to find a crease is unmatched. He just needs a bit of space to find daylight and score a touchdown.

The Giants drafted an Alabama football player in the second round last year. This would give them another talent from Tuscaloosa, and he would impact the entire offense with his speed and versatility.
