Perfect NFL landing spots for Alabama football’s Dylan Moses
2. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have a great nucleus of young players, but they have a lot of work to do on defense. With great offenses and tight ends in the AFC West, it is crucial that the Raiders improve at inside linebacker.
Mike Mayock has shown his hand in terms of what he likes in an NFL draft prospect. He values character and tends to draft players from blue-blood programs. He has drafted plenty of Alabama football players in the past two years, including Josh Jacobs and Henry Ruggs in the first round. You can also point to them drafting players from Clemson and Ohio State. Needless to say, Alabama football players will be high on the Raiders’ draft board.
This is the perfect mix of fit and need. The Raiders will prioritize inside linebackers and Alabama football players, and Dylan Moses is the overlap in that Venn diagram. Also, he would look great in a Raiders jersey. This isn’t important, but it’s at least a nice touch.
The Raiders also have a few other needs, so don’t be surprised if they wait until Day 2 to draft a linebacker. Because of this, Las Vegas seems to be a likely landing spot for Dylan Moses. It won’t be easy to contend in the AFC West, but Dylan Moses would help Vegas’s case.
