Worst NFL landing spots for Alabama football’s Najee Harris

2. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville has a lot to be excited about, but they are still one of the worst teams in the NFL. They have a reputation of not taking care of players, and they have recently gotten rid of a few cornerstones. No logical athlete believes that they will play for the Jaguars for their entire NFL career and have success.

Also, the Jaguars have Urban Meyer as their head coach. Najee Harris might do well with a college coach, but there is no reason to believe that Meyer will succeed in the NFL. There isn’t a great track record of college coaches coaching well in the NFL, and Meyer doesn’t have the necessary traits to change the narrative.

Harris would be paired with Trevor Lawrence, which would be nice. However, Jacksonville also needs to improve the offensive line to compete with the Colts and Titans in the AFC South. If they draft Harris in the first round, they are likely waiting until Day 2 to address the offensive line. If Harris is drafted in the second round, it will impact his money again.

Jacksonville needs a running back, and they might snag Alabama football’s star player. That being said, they need a running back because they cut their last one. There is no loyalty in Jacksonville, and players are instantly limited when they are drafted to that franchise.
