Most likely Alabama football player for each NFL team to draft
By Dakota Cox
Which Alabama football players will NFL teams consider drafting?
Chicago Bears: Mac Jones
I know that the Bears signed Andy Dalton, but that doesn’t mean that their quarterback problems are solved. If Mac Jones falls down the board, Chicago has to consider trading up to get him. Outside of that, they might consider adding to the offensive line in later rounds. The Bears are in a weird spot, and I honestly hope that they don’t draft any Alabama football players.
Detroit Lions: DeVonta Smith
Detroit needs help in a lot of areas, but receiver has been ignored during free agency. Because of that, they will likely be drafting one in the first round. If Smith is available, he should be the guy. However, Jaylen Waddle could also be drafted. It just depends on what the teams in front of them do.
Detroit has a bad history with star skill players, but they will hope to change that if they draft either of the Alabama football studs.
Green Bay Packers: Landon Dickerson
Green Bay needs to do something to help out Aaron Rodgers. The receivers will be off the board, so perhaps they will help bolster the offensive line late in the first round. Landon Dickerson could fill in for Corey Linsley, who is now on the Chargers. With Bahktiari suffering a season-ending injury late last year, they might want to add help at tackle start the season off right. However, this might be addressed in free agency.
Minnesota Vikings: Alex Leatherwood
Minnesota is in an awkward position. They need some defensive help, but their key needs won’t have value where they are drafting. That leaves them with the need to add a quarterback of the future and depth on the offensive line. The top quarterbacks will likely be gone, so they could look at a lineman.
If they don’t take one of the second-tier linemen in the first round, they will consider Alex Leatherwood in the second round if he falls.
