Most likely Alabama football player for each NFL team to draft
By Dakota Cox
Which Alabama football players will NFL teams consider drafting?
Denver Broncos: Patrick Surtain
Many will think that Denver should consider drafting Mac Jones, but they seem to be set on either sticking with Lock or trading for Watson. Instead, they should consider an Alabama football player on the other side of the ball. Surtain would line up against some of the best receivers in the NFL if he played for an AFC West team, and this fit would make plenty of sense. However, the Broncos might consider Caleb Farley instead.
The debate between Farley and Surtain will continue through the 2021 NFL Draft, but the Broncos might settle it by drafting one or the other early in the first round.
Kansas City Chiefs: Landon Dickerson
The Chiefs have massive issues with their offensive line. They cut three starters from last year’s squad. They have some players returning and new players signed, but they still need longterm solutions. Dickerson would wreck the trenches for a decade if he went to Kansas City.
Las Vegas Raiders: Deonte Brown
The Raiders have drafted an Alabama football player in the first round each of the past two years, and they just signed Kenyan Drake as well. They love players from blue-blood programs, so they will take a look at every prospect out of Tuscaloosa.
The Raiders have also cut most of their offensive line from last year, and they desperately need to solve this issue. Drafting Deonte Brown in the later rounds would give them a starter at a position of need, which is all you can ask for beyond the first round.
Los Angeles Chargers: Jaylen Waddle
The Chargers have solid weapons, but it can’t hurt to give their young quarterback one of the fastest receivers out there. They need to sure up the offensive line and add some key players to the defense, but they would have to consider Jaylen Waddle if he fell to them. Also, Waddle in a Chargers jersey would be nice.
