More Alabama football players are on the move

The NFL offseason has been filled with more roster turnover than usual, and many former Alabama football players have gotten in on the fun.

We covered some early moves in NFL free agency involving Tide players. Mark Ingram signed with the Houston Texans, and Dalvin Tomlinson also made a move to a new team. While these moves are big, more players have new teams.

Robert Foster signed with the Miami Dolphins. He will be paired with his former Alabama football quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. His speed will play well alongside Will Fuller in Miami.

Kenyan Drake also found a new home with the Las Vegas Raiders. This move surprised many. The Raiders have lost many linemen due to cap casualties, but they allocated significant capital to a backup running back. They drafted Josh Jacobs two years ago, and he does a lot of the same things that Drake brings. Still, the Raiders will have Drake and Josh in the backfield.

Reggie Ragland is also on the move. After playing for the Detroit Lions last year, he signed a deal with the New York Giants. He will be paired with Alabama football’s Xavier McKinney on defense.

Other Alabama football players decided to return to their former teams. The Cincinnati Bengals are bringing back fan-favorite Tony Brown. Brown has been a quality special teams player while adding depth to the secondary. He might work his way into the starting lineup by the end of the year if things go his way.

Levi Wallace will also be returning to play for the Bills. He was undrafted out of Alabama, but he is now a starting corner for the Bills. He will make over $1 million this season with the chance to add more money with incentives.

Other Tide players are still up for grabs. Teams might be in the market for adding A.J. McCarron as a veteran backup quarterback. Ryan Anderson and Kareem Jackson are also up for grabs.
