Running back

In the coming season, the Alabama Crimson Tide is loaded with depth at running back. More than just depth, there is also a wealth of talent in the Tide’s running back roster. New Crimson Tide assistant coach, Robert Gillespie has an abundance of resources to use in any game situation.

Alabama Football will have several duos to use in the backfield. Senior Brian Robinson Jr will lead the pack likely with Trey Sanders and Keilan Robinson fighting for the number two position. Sanders was one of the highest-rated recruits in the nation but suffered a foot injury his freshman year prior to a car accident this past season. He looks to finally be able to make an impact for the Tide in 2021.

Keilan Robinson opted out of the 2020 season early on but appears to be coming back with a vengeance for the 2021 season. The Junior out of Washington D.C. has been posting some impressive pictures on Twitter recently even claiming to be faster than he was in his freshman season. Saban said Robinson had “the juice”.

Sophomores Jase McClellan and Roydell Williams also showed their speed and elusiveness when they entered games in 2020 playing clean-up duty. Look to see many of these faces behind the veteran Brian Robinson.
