The Miami Dolphins take an Alabama football player in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft

NFL free agency is well underway, and every signing impacts the needs of NFL teams ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft. As teams sign players at key positions, their draft needs update along the way. Clearly, this impacts the 2021 NFL Mock Draft season as well. While this will impact some Alabama football players, it truly impacts the entire community.

We’ve also seen teams trade NFL Draft picks. Miami traded back with San Francisco before immediately moving back up with the Philadelphia Eagles. With the draft order changed, it is time for another 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

Before we begin with the easiest prediction ever, there are some things you need to know. For starters, I tried to stick with realistic trades in this mock. For the picks themselves, I went with predictions. I would not make some of these decisions, but I tried to stick with what we know about each NFL team and how they value draft picks. When I did not have enough information to make an accurate prediction, I added my analysis to the mix.

Let’s now begin with Jacksonville.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson

I’m not going to be contrarion for the sake of an argument. Regardless of how I rank the quarterbacks, Trevor Lawrence will be the first player drafted. We knew that since the Tigers beat Alabama football in Lawrence’s freshman year. In every 2021 NFL mock draft, you will see Lawrence going to Jacksonville.

T-Law has athleticism and accuracy. He’s a great leader. He’s not perfect, but he’s going first overall for a reason. He is Jacksonville’s best hope of turning the franchise around.
