2021 NFL Mock Draft 3.0

18. Miami Dolphins: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

In every NFL mock draft I have done this offseason, I have had the Dolphins take Najee Harris with the 18th pick. I love the value here. If the Dolphins want to truly commit to Alabama football’s Tua Tagovailoa, why not draft this former roommate?

Harris is explosive, but he remains agile. He has vision, and he always has a move for a situation. Whether he stiff-arms, hurdles or spins his way out of a tackle, he is usually successful.

Najee Harris can also impact the passing game. His route tree is as good as some wide receivers, and he can block on third down. He can be used in every situation, and that makes him worth a first-round pick.

However, the Miami Dolphins have other needs. They could draft Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah here. They also need offensive linemen, so the remaining tackles would be considered. If so, look for them to take someone like Travis Etienne in the second round.

That being said, I love the fit of Najee Harris with the Miami Dolphins. That’s why I’ve put him here in every 2021 NFL mock draft. This is an Alabama football fan’s dream. He would start immediately, and his impact would help carry the Dolphins to the NFL Playoffs.
