Closing thoughts

Top players available

There are plenty of guys left on the board who will have positive impacts on NFL teams. Alabama football’s Alex Leatherwood seems to be falling, but he can still start at tackle or guard. Javonte Williams, the UNC running back, is also a top prospect left. Some believe he is better than Travis Etienne, and I see why.

Zaven Collins and Nick Bolton are also on the board at inside linebacker.

Winners and losers

If Mac Jones goes third overall to the San Francisco 49ers, Alabama football fans should be ecstatic. That is the best quarterback situation for anyone, and he is a dream fit in that offense. While other quarterbacks might have more upside, there is no doubt that Jones would be a winner here.

Another winner is Jaylen Waddle. Not only does he avoid going to Detroit, but he is also paired with his former Alabama football teammate. He would instantly start in the slot, and he would look clean in a Dolphins jersey.

In a tradeless scenario, teams like Washington and Chicago are losers. They need to add quarterbacks, but all of the top names are off the list.

Final thoughts

Having seven Alabama football players go in the first round seems to be the max. While Leatherwood might slide in late, there are plenty of second-round tackles as well. While this isn’t perfect for every Alabama football player, this would be a dream for some.
