Alabama football breaks record in NFL Mock Draft 5.0

22. Tennessee Titans: Elijah Moore, WR, Ole Miss

Despite the Titans having success, they have a lot of needs on the roster. They should add help to the secondary, and they desperately need a right tackle. However, they also need an extra receiver after losing Davis. They were already lacking at the position, but this makes it even worse for the Titans.

They could easily pass on this need and wait for the later rounds, but Elijah Moore would be a great fit in Tennessee. He is smooth as a route-runner, and he can make contested catches on a regular basis. He played against some of the best secondaries in college football, including Alabama football, and he played well.

Many will remember Moore for his endzone antics in the Egg Bowl in 2019, but that should not cause teams to take him off of their board. He made a mistake, and plenty of wide receivers have done worse in the NFL. In fact, OBJ celebrated in the exact same way after a touchdown.

With a weaker offensive line and a new offensive coordinator, more pressure will be on Ryan Tannehill to make plays. You need to protect him, but you also have to figure out who he is going to throw to. Moore is a great value here, and all of the great receivers will be gone by the second round.
