Bold Alabama football predictions for 2021 NFL Draft

1. Alabama football will break the record for first-round draft picks

Miami currently holds the record for most players drafted in the first round of a single NFL Draft. While Alabama and LSU have come close in the past, no one has topped the Hurricanes. This could be the year Alabama pulls it off.

Alabama football fans will see Mac Jones, Jaylen Waddle, DeVonta Smith and Patrick Surtain go in the first round. These are all locks. Najee Harris feels like a lock at this point, and Christian Barmore will likely go as well. This would tie the record with six. For the seventh player, either Alex Leatherwood or Landon Dickerson would have to slide into the first round.

The offensive line class is tricky this year. All of the first-round linemen are in the same tier, but no one can agree on how to rank them. Some think Alex Leatherwood is a lock to go in the first round, but others think that he could slip to the third.

With Landon Dickerson, injuries are the only thing holding him back. If someone is willing to take a chance on him, he will be worth it.

This class is full of Alabama football stars, and many will hear their name on Thursday. We’ll cover every Tide pick over the course of the draft.
