Alabama Football: Dylan Moses goes undrafted, signs with Jags

Alabama football fans are stunned with Dylan Moses going undrafted
Dylan Moses was one of the best recruits to ever sign with Alabama football, and he played like it for two years. After repetitive knee injuries, he became an undrafted free agent.
Moses tore his ACL before his junior year. Before that injury, he was a lock to go in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He instead had to rehab, and he was unable to prove that he was healthy in the 2019 season. He decided to return for his senior year, but he was still hobbled with knee injuries.
The question marks paired with the inability to do deep medical evaluations scared some NFL teams. He was taken off of some draft boards because of this. Still, he brings value if he can stay healthy.
Moses is a stud inside linebacker when healthy. He hits hard in the trenches, and he has an insane football IQ. The ability to grasp Alabama football‘s defense as a true freshman is a rare trait, and Moses did it well.
Moses’s evaluation simply comes down to health. You can’t question his work ethic or talent. If he can get near 100% and stay healthy, he will be one of the most successful undrafted free agents in the history of the NFL. If not, it will make sense why so many teams passed on him.
Moses will now begin his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He signed following the draft. While there is more certainty with being drafted, this gave Moses the ability to choose his landing spot. The Jaguars have taken risks on injury-prone linebackers in the past, so maybe they will stick with him as he rehabs.
Alabama football fans were shocked that Moses went undrafted, and it is obvious why that should be surprising. He is going to make a lot of general managers look dumb if he can get healthy.
