When the recruiting dead period ended at the beginning of June, the recruits came out in full force making up for lost time with dozens of official visits. In the new age of social media presence, fans have gotten a glimpse into the treatment the recruits receive on their visits. The Alabama Football recruiting team holds nothing back in trying to impress the high school players on visits with the Tide.
Last year, Nick Saban had to embrace the world of Zoom in recruiting with in-person visits limited due to the pandemic. It was then that a recruit recorded and leaked Nick Saban’s recruiting pitch that went viral.
With that time behind us, Saban and the recruiting team seem to be thriving in his return to in-person recruiting as well.
Alabama Football’s recruiting team rolls out the red carpet for recruits
First, the recruits and their families are provided 5-star arrangements for their stay in Tuscaloosa complete with Alabama Football gear and, typically, a cake, as seen in this video from 5-Star DE Omari Abor.

The families are also invited to join the recruit in talking with head coach, Nick Saban. In Saban’s office, the recruits likely hear a pitch similar to the one that went viral not long ago.
4-Star running back, Nicholas Singleton felt that Alabama’s coaches were down to earth during his official visit.

He also conveniently places the chocolates on the table so that recruits and their families must reach over all the championship rings to reach them. Saban is clearly a believer in product placement.

Current players will also frequently spend time with the recruits as well during their official visits. Malachi Moore, a true freshman starter last season, and Jalen Milroe, a backup quarterback, are two current players who spend time with recruits to share their experiences and why they chose the Tide.

Having a true freshman starter help with recruiting quickly dispels the myth that Saban doesn’t start freshmen.
Something that the recruiting team, pictured below, has really stepped up their game on this year is the recruiting photoshoots.
Our team > yours. Insanely proud of our photoshoots this year and these two are a major part of that‼️ #DREAMTEAM #RollTide pic.twitter.com/V3Nwar3kMU

Talking to the GOAT, Saban, and looking through displays of championship rings is impressive, but recruits want something they can share on social media for clout. This team has created just that. Every recruit leaves Tuscaloosa with professional-style pictures and videos of themselves in the Alabama Football uniform complete with flashing lights and all the props.

There aren’t many schools where recruits can hold the College Football Playoff Championship trophy or have more rings than they have fingers.
