Five Possible Alabama Football Freshmen Starters

James Burnip – Punter – There is ample video proof Burnip can kick a football high and far. If he can handle the pressure, the other Tide punters will have a tough time beating him out.

Kool-Aid McKinstry – Cornerback – Jaylin Armour-Davis or JUCO transfer Khyree Jackson will likely impede the freshman from starting against the Canes. Based on summer drills, Kool-Aid cannot be ruled out for a starting role.

Check out these Kool-Aid highlights.

J.C. Latham – Offensive Line – Latham is a future Crimson Tide starter – not if, but when. Will Doug Marrone trust him enough to start from day one? It depends on Latham’s performance and the performance of four or five older guys in fall camp.

Agiye Hall – Wide Receiver – Hall looked great in the A-Day game. The latest buzz from Tuscaloosa is Javon Baker is running with first unit receivers John Metchie, Jameson Williams and Slade Bolden. Hall could beat Baker out.

JoJo Earle – Wide Receiver – JoJo Earle is possibly the next Jaylen Wadle for the Crimson Tide. The coaches trust Bolden and that most likely will keep Slade in the starting group. But, Earle is too good to not see the field in a solid role this fall. Check out Earle’s high school highlights below.
