These Alabama football players are cheat codes
With NCAA Football being gone for so long, the only way to use Alabama football players in video games is in Madden. Once players make it to the pros, their supporters can use their characters to win games and carry their teams to the Super Bowl. This has been a tradition for as long as Madden has existed, and its newest chapter is almost available.
Madden 22 will release this month, but the ratings for every player in the game are already out. These are the highest-rated Alabama football alumni in this year’s version of Madden 22.
Derrick Henry: 96 overall
Believe it or not, this is actually a snub for Derrick Henry. Henry has led the NFL in yards for the past two seasons and surpassed the 2000 mark in 2020-21. Still, he has yet to become a 99 overall player. In fact, he’s only the second-best running back in this year’s version of Madden.
However, he does have some crazy ratings. His stiffarm is 99, and his breaking tackle rating is 95. He has 97 stamina and toughness.
Julio Jones: 95 overall
Julio has a new team, but he remains one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He’s been one of the toughest players since his time with Alabama football. His catch-in-traffic and spectacular catch ratings are both 96. These two Alabama football legends will be on the same roster, so they’ll be a favorite to use in Madden for Tide fans.
Amari Cooper: 92 overall
Cooper has a different style of play from Julio’s, but both are incredibly effective in the NFL. Cooper relies more on speed and smoothness with his routes, and he’ll be used plenty in Dallas’s offense.
Marlon Humphrey: 92 overall
Tied with Coop is Marlon Humphrey, the highest-rated defensive player from Alabama football. Humphrey left college early, but he’s been a stud with the Ravens since his rookie year. Some believe he is the best young corner in the NFL, and his contract helps prove it.
Over the years, new players will make this list. For now, it is full of players from an earlier part of the Alabama football dynasty.
