One of the more intriguing wide receivers on Alabama’s 2021 roster is Jameson Williams, a junior transfer from Ohio State. Williams hauled in nine passes for the Buckeyes a year ago for 154 yards and two TD’s.

A former four-star recruit, Williams was rated as one of the top high school players in the state of Missouri where he had 2,688 receiving yards and 37 TD’s on 104 receptions during his junior and senior seasons. Also a two-time track and field state champion, Williams went on to Ohio State where he totaled 15 catches for 266 yards and three TD’s during his two seasons with the Buckeyes.

While it is currently unknown where Williams will slide in on this loaded wide receiver depth chart, the Ohio State transfer will certainly play a big role for the Alabama offense this season. If there is a dark horse to be the No. 2 receiver behind Metchie in terms of production this season, it’s Williams.

Prediction for 2021 Season Stat Line:

30 catches, 400 yards, 4 TD
