Christian Leary

Class: Freshman

HT/WT: 5’10, 175 LBs.

Hometown: Orlando, FL

High School: Edgewater

Number: 12

If you’re looking for a receiver on Alabama’s roster that is the most like Waddle skill-wise, look no further than freshman Christian Leary.

A consensus four-star recruit, Leary was a phenomenal two-sport athlete (football and track) at Edgewater High School (FL). Rated among the top wide receivers in the country, Leary recently posted phenomenal production during the 2019 season that included 1,586 all-purpose yards and 16 total TD’s, as well as posting a 100-yard dash time as low as 10.50.

As mentioned previously, Leary can easily draw comparisons to Waddle on the field due to his size and speed. While it is unknown what role we may see Leary play this season, his game-changing speed alone could help the freshman see the field early-on this season.

Prediction for 2021 Season Stat Line:

15 catches, 200 yards, 1 TD, 3 carries, 20 yards
