Arguably the Alabama tight end with the most on-field experience is redshirt senior Major Tennison. Entering year five in Tuscaloosa, Tennison appeared in 12 games a year ago catching one pass for four yards.

Tennison has appeared in 34 games so far during his Alabama career where he has played primarily as a rotational tight end and special teams option. Across the past four seasons, Tennison has caught six passes for 55 yards and one TD.

Looking at Tennison’s outlook for the 2021 season, the redshirt senior should be a prominent special teams player for the Crimson Tide once again, as well as potentially seeing more looks in the passing game. If there is a player from this tight end group that could play a similar role to Forristall a year ago, it’s Tennison.

Prediction for 2021 Season Stat Line:

10 catches, 50 yards, 1 TD
