Alabama Football: 3 keys to go undefeated in 2021
By Dakota Cox
Alabama football has a solid chance to win it all this year
Despite Alabama football’s dominance in recent years, they have only won back-to-back titles once over the Saban era. However, they have had two undefeated regular seasons following title runs.
Alabama has a solid chance of winning it all in 2021, but it won’t be easy. They have a difficult schedule, and they’re replacing almost every starter from last year’s record-breaking offense.
Still, this doesn’t mean that Alabama football can’t win it all this season. In fact, they’ll be favored in every regular-season game by a noticeable margin. So, what will it take for Alabama to be undefeated this season and win another national championship? Here are the keys to achieving that goal.
3. Start the season off strong
We’ll have a good idea of what Alabama football is capable of in the first half of the season. Alabama’s toughest opponents are some of their first. They will play Miami, Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Florida in the first six games of their season. Three of these four games will be played outside of Bryant-Denny Stadium, and they will have full stadiums.
This will be an early test for Bryce Young and the other young players on this roster. However, these opponents will have some new faces as well. Texas A&M and Florida will each have new quarterbacks.
After this, Alabama football’s schedule eases up. They play teams like Tennessee, Mississippi State and Arkansas. If they can survive the first few games, they should have an easy path to an undefeated regular season.
