Alabama Football: Madden 22 team of all Tide players
By Dakota Cox
What if you put all Alabama football players on one Madden roster?
Madden 22 is out, and fans can lead NFL teams to victory in the annual video game. This also gives Alabama football fans a chance to play as former Tide players. With no college football video game, this is the only chance to play as Derrick Henry, Julio Jones or Tua Tagovailoa.
You can also force trades in the video game, giving you the chance to see all your favorite Alabama football players in the NFL on one team. You call the shots and remove the barriers of real life.
With that in mind, what would an all-Alabama team in Madden look like. Here’s a breakdown of if you put the best Tide alumni on one team. There are 53 spots on a roster, and all roles are filled with at least two players
Quarterback
Starter: Tua Tagovailoa
Bench: Jalen Hurts, Mac Jones
Alabama has seen three former quarterbacks drafted in the past two years, and they will all likely be starting by the end of the season. As of right now, Tua is the best Tide quarterback in Madden. He’s rated 73 overall, and that will go up if he lives up to the hype this year.
Jalen Hurts brings a running element to the mix, which can be fun in the video game. Mac Jones is just a rookie, so he will have to wait for his rating to improve.
In the past, your only options in Madden were AJ McCarron or Greg McElroy. Now, you can choose your favorite starting quarterback, which is a good feeling for Alabama football fans.
