With a contract extension, Jimbo is now a gazillion dollars richer. Can the Aggies buy an SEC Championship – ever? Fisher’s defense will be one of the SEC’s best. He has offensive weapons but replacing the production of Kellen Mond at quarterback will not be easy.
No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs – Predicted regular season ceiling – 11 wins
There’s too much talent in Athens to not get back to the SEC Championship game. A loss to Clemson will not destroy the Bulldogs’ season. Georgia’s defense should be one of the nation’s best. If J.T. Daniels is half as good as Dawgs’ fans think he is, Kirby Smart’s team will have a big year.
Alabama Football Again!
No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide – Predicted regular season ceiling – 12 wins
There are reasons why Alabama Football will not run the SEC table again. There are also reasons why the Tide might have a 26-game winning streak when it returns to Atlanta in December. Perhaps only Nick Saban’s program can absorb the loss of so much offensive production and still have a strong chance to get back to an SEC Championship game and contend for a National Championship.
