Alabama Football Breakout No. 5
This prediction was also part of an earlier post, and I still believe Cameron Latu will lead the Crimson Tide in receptions by a tight end. Check out Nick Saban’s Wednesday comments that indicate Jahleel Billingsley is not doing enough to work his way back up the Tide depth chart. Hopefully, that will change soon, but even if it does, Latu will be targeted often and he has the skills to take advantage.
Crimson Tide Breakout No. 6
JoJo Earle may or may not get the starting nod at slot receiver. Either way, he will get plenty of game action. In a wide receiver group, loaded with talent, Earle is the player closest to the elusiveness of Jaylen Waddle. In addition, Earle will be ‘Waddle-Arenas’ electric on punt returns. Slade Bolden may start at slot and punt returner against Miami, but Earle will work his way into a key role.
Crimson Tide Breakout No. 7
James Burnip has come a long way to make an impact for the Crimson Tide. The Australian is highly touted by kicking specialists. He may take a game or two for Burnip to settle down enough to show his full potential. When he does, Alabama Football fans will be reminded of the long and towering punts of J.K. Scott.
