Not Alabama Football Regular Season Opponents
Virginia Tech 17 – North Carolina 10
It is easier to say after the fact – but can anyone really be surprised that UNC was overrated. We all had two clear cues – the ACC and Mack Brown. Our first ‘Pretender’ of the season.
Oregon 31 – Fresno State 24
Not an impressive start for the Ducks.
Iowa 34 – Indiana 6
The Hoosiers get the award for the most overrated team in week one.
Texas 38 – Louisiana 18
Good first win for Sark and the Longhorns.
Notre Dame 41 – Florida State 38
The luck of the Irish and a heart-breaking loss for FSU.
Kentucky 45 – Louisiana Monroe 10
Penn State transfer, Will Levis to Nebraska transfer Wandale Robinson, looks like a serious weapon for the Wildcats. With new OC, Liam Coen, the Cats are throwing on early downs and using play-action effectively. SEC East teams cannot afford to underestimate Mark Stoops’ team.
Marshall 49 – Navy 7
Great first head coaching win for former Crimson Tide running backs coach, Charles Huff
Maryland 30 – West Virginia 24
Former Tide QB, Taulia Tagovailoa had a big day for the Terrapins, throwing for 319 yards and three touchdowns.
