Alabama Football vs. USM Bold Prediction No. 5

The Alabama Crimson Tide is rushing for a per-game average of 135 yards. The Tide will reach at least 185 yards against Southern Miss. Jase McClellan and Trey Sanders will get many more touches than they have in past games. One of them will rush for at least 85 yards while sharing snaps with at least, two other running backs.

Bold Prediction No. 6 – Developing Wide Receivers

JoJo Earle will see an increased number of targets against Southern Miss. Slade Bolden will not be demoted because of a dropped touchdown pass against the Gators. Bolden will start, but Earle will earn his most snaps of the season.

Along with Earle, another little-used Crimson Tide receiver will make enough plays against Southern Miss to move into the Tide’s No. 5 wideout in game rotation. None of the so far quiet group can be ruled out as Nick Saban and Holman Wiggins are looking for another guy who can get separation from defenders and when required, make contested catches. This prediction is that guy will be Javon Baker, Traeshon Holden or Agiye Hall.

Bold Prediction No. 7 – A Streak Continues

The Crimson Tide will score 30 or more points in its 30th straight game. The all-time FBS record is 31.

Next. Repeats are hard and rare, especially with scheduling obstacles. dark

Another prediction could have been included. It was not, for failing to be sufficiently bold. It is the Crimson Tide will win its 100th straight game against an unranked team.
