No. 6 Texas A&M Aggies (3-1); Last week No. 5; Predicted regular season ceiling – 8 wins

The Aggies might be the SEC’s most disappointing team. Against the Razorbacks, the TAMU defense had problems with pass coverage and tackling. Neither is supposed to happen to a Mike Elko defense. Though Arkansas only put up 20 points, the Aggies could not cover Treylon Burks. Had Hogs’ QB, K.J. Jefferson not missed part of the game due to injury (and been hobbled once he returned), Arkansas would have probably scored more points. Except for Isaiah Spiller’s 95 yards rushing and 26 yards receiving, Jimbo Fisher’s offense was held in check by the Razorbacks. Final Score: Arkansas 20 – Texas A&M 10

No. 5 Florida Gators (2-1); Last week No. 5; Predicted regular season ceiling – 9 wins

The Gators came off a tough loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide and had trouble with Tennesee in the first half.  Gators’ quarterback,  Emory Jones provided plenty of firepower with 353 yards of offense. QB, Anthony Richardson missed a second game, but against the Vols defense, the Gators had plenty of offense. Tennessee moved the ball against the Gators, who might have been somewhat deflated in the first half, after their tough loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Final Score: Florida 38 – Tennessee 14

No. 4 Arkansas Razorbacks  (4-0); Last week No. 7; Predicted regular season ceiling – 10 wins

Sam Pittman’s fast-rising team is easy to like. They play like a group confident of taking on all comers. Similar to college football defenses, before offense took over the national game, the Razorbacks fly to the ball. They have an abundance of experience on offense and defense. Pittman made two smart hires in Barry Odom and Kendall Briles. Both coordinators have a lot of talent to utilize. It is still hard to tell how good Arkansas is, but they may be very good. Final Score: Arkansas 20 – Texas A&M 10
