Alabama Crimson Tide Players to Watch
QB Bryce Young
Young threw for a season-high 369 yards and three touchdowns a week ago, but also threw an interception for the third consecutive game. For the season, Young has completed 69.4% of his passes for 1,734 yards with 20 touchdowns and three interceptions.
RB Brian Robinson Jr
Robinson for 100+ yards for the second consecutive game last week carrying the ball 24 times for 147 yards, while also adding four catches for 60 yards. Already having a career-season, Robinson has rushed for 526 yards and six touchdowns on 97 carries so far this season.
OLB Will Anderson Jr
Anderson collected six tackles a week ago against Texas A&M. The sophomore currently ranks second on the Alabama defense with 39 tackles and three sacks on the season.
WR Jameson Williams
Alabama’s leading receiver, Williams had arguably his best game of the season hauling in 10 passes for 146 yards and two touchdowns. The Ohio State transfer has caught 27 passes this season for 510 yards and five touchdowns.
S DeMarcco Hellams
Hellams collected seven tackles against the Aggies a week ago, as well as an interception. For the season, Hellams has totaled 37 tackles and two interceptions.
WR John Metchie III
Metchie had arguably his best game of the season last Saturday catching seven passes for 88 yards. Metchie has caught a team-high 34 passes this season for 363 yards and two touchdowns.
DT Phidarian Mathis
Mathis has collected eight tackles and a sack in three career games against Mississippi State. The senior added three tackles a week ago bringing his season-total to 22 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.
LB Henry To’o To’o
The Tennessee transfer collected six tackles a week ago to bring his season-total to 41. To’o To’o currently leads the Alabama defense in tackles.
K Will Reichard
Reichard went 3/3 on both field goals and extra points a week ago bringing his season-total to 33/33 on extra points and 9/10 on field goals. The junior did not miss a kick against the Bulldogs last season making two field goals and five extra points.
TE Jahleel Billingsley
Billingsley has caught 10 passes this season for 178 yards and two touchdowns. Billingsley caught one pass for 19 yards against Mississippi State back in 2019.
