Alabama Football dispensed with the Tennessee Vols Saturday night, 52-24. The determined Vols kept the game close for three quarters, but the fourth quarter, as it is supposed to be, was all the Crimson Tide.

The Vols made some plays in generating three touchdowns. Crimson Tide miscues were the primary reasons for two of those touchdowns. Take away two Tide defensive plays that allowed the Vols to score 14 points and the rest of the game was dominated by the Crimson Tide.

The list of studs is not ranked, but if it were ranked Bryce Young would be listed first for his overall contribution. Young’s poise and determination were the primary reasons Alabama Football pushed its win streak over the Vols to 15 games.

Alabama Football Studs in win over Tennessee

Quarterback – Bryce Young

Bryce Young was 31-for-43, for 371 yards, with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also kept drives alive and scored while running the ball. He rushed 10 times for 42 yards and added two touchdowns on the ground. His mistakes (he does not make many) and more importantly, the mistakes of his teammates never deter him from moving forward to the next play and the next opportunity for success.

Bryce also fumbled at the goal line but he recovered the ball.

Running Back – Brian Robinson Jr.

As Nick Saban said after the game, the more B-Rob plays in a game, the better he gets. He rushed 26 times against the Vols for 107 tough yards. Robinson scored three touchdowns on the ground and also caught four passes for 16 yards.
