Wide Receiver – John Metchie III

Metchie caught 11 passes for 121 yards and two touchdowns. He was also credited with one rush for eight yards.

Wide Receiver – Jameson Williams

Williams caught six passes for 123 yards. His 65-yard reception early in the 4th quarter was a game-changing play.

Placekicker – Will Reichard

Will Reichard was a little short and a bit wide on a 54-yard field goal attempt in the first half. He was good on a more important kick in the second half, nailing a 45-yarder, midway through the third quarter.

Outside Linebacker – Will Anderson Jr.

Anderson led the Crimson Tide defense with eight total tackles and 1.5 sacks. He was also the Tide leader with five solo tackles. Along with his stellar play, Anderson makes his teammates better, by consistently demanding the attention of opponents and often disrupting their offensive preferences.

Inside Linebacker – Christian Harris

Harris was the Tide’s second-leading tackler with four solo stops, six total tackles and half a sack.

Defensive Lineman – Phidarian Mathis

Mathis helped clog the middle, denying the Vols’ running gaps. He also had four tackles and a sack.
